Many of the mayor's activities this week focus on Saturday, which is billed as the Worldwide Day of Play by the American Heart Association. As Mayor Dave starts to gear up for a reelection campaign, it's clear that his efforts in the area of city fitness will play a big role.
Also promising to play a significant role is the mayor's involvement with keeping young professionals in Madison. To that end, he'll appear at the National Young Professional Summit, hosted by MAGNET at, ironically, the State Historical Society on Saturday night.
