When news broke on Monday morning that President Barack Obama would be holding a campaign rally at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Thursday, October 4, interest among people who attend school and work on campus was immediate.
Students and staff at UW started sharing their thoughts on the visit, Obama's third on campus in the last four years. They also shared observations of preparations on Bascom Hill, the setting for the rally, which comes the day after the first debate between the president and challenger Mitt Romney.
