Last week, the Friends of Scott Walker sent out an email urging the governor's supporters to forgo holiday shopping and instead "give your children a gift that will keep on giving."
The gift they're referring to is "$5, $10 or $25 to help Governor Walker get reelected and save your children from a future of double-digit tax increases and billion dollar budget deficits. Instead of electronics or toys that will undoubtedly be outdated, broken, or lost by the next holiday season, help give your children the gift of a Wisconsin that we can all be proud of.... A strong Wisconsin is the best gift you can give."
If your children are the kind who would enjoy such a gift, here are some other ideas for Christmas stocking-stuffers:
- Toner cartridges, to save them from a future of faint print-outs.
- Vacuum cleaner bags, for a floor we can all be proud of.
- Pre-mixed grout, because a strong sealant is the best gift you can give.
