Photojournalist Frank West discovers a horde of brain-hungry zombies in a Colorado mall. The game's delightfully absurd purpose: Kill as many walking corpses as you possibly can.
While this might seem to run the risk of getting tiresome, the variety of weapons (and the incredible sound effects that go with them) keeps things fresh. If you get bored hammering away at the zombies with your baseball bat, head over to the hardware store and grab a chainsaw or, better yet, a sledgehammer.
Dead Rising is packed with so many optional missions and Easter eggs that you'll want to play it again and again, making this one of the best ways to blow $60 bucks on your new 360 habit.
