The 30-year-old emcee and musician A.N.T., otherwise known as Anthony Ward, took the stage twice at the Taste of Madison on Saturday, introducing himself at the Magic 98 platform on MLK Jr. Blvd. before moving on to the 106.7 jAMZ presentation at the top of State Street later in the afternoon.
A.N.T. "believes music should not only reflect the struggles of life and society, but, more importantly, point toward what change can look like." This sentiment is certainly evident in his song "Get Ready," a call to arms he released in 2006. A live concert video of Ward performing the song at the Taste follows.
There are a few other videos of A.N.T. on stage at the Taste. One pair captures him performing "Get Ready" (parts one and two), while a third clip features him with collaborating with Madison singer-songwriter Tom Teslik on a song titled "The Extra Mile."
