Though they have six more games remaining through the end of the month, home matches are over for the , with six wins, no losses and one tie -- enough to put them four points up on Milwaukee.
The 56ers have played four games on their home pitch at Breese Stevens Field on East Washington Avenue over the last two weeks, including a pair of matches against traveling teams from the U.K. and Germany. Madison filmmaker Jon Worrell created a short video featuring highlights from two of these recent games, when the men in white and red defeated the Rockford Raptors and SC Wiedenbrück (from Rheda-Wiedenbrück in the German Länder of Nordrhein-Westfalen).

Though the 56ers have no more home games this season, they will be playing in Rockford on Saturday, July 7, and will be returning to the region with a match agasint FC Barrington at Waunakee High School on Saturday, July 21. More information about the team is available from Madison Soccer Central.
