The in-store show at Strictly Discs by Locksley wasn't the only concert the group played in town last Saturday. This quartet of Madison expats brought their Merseybeat revival to the Annex later that night, drawing cheers from fans old and new excited to see the ascending band.
Playing alongside Locksley was Scissors for Lefty, a synth-indie quintet hailing from San Francisco. "Tonight's show here in Madison, WI with "Locksley" was the...um... very, very nice, if not perfect" proclaimed the band the morning after the concert.
There are two short clip of the group at the show, both focusing on their song "Next to Argyle' (here and here), which featured Locksley guitarist Kai Kennedy giving some assistance.
