"Man of Steel"

In this retelling of the Superman story, a cub reporter (Henry Cavill) must save those he loves from a dire threat while struggling with the consequences of his extraordinary abilities. Warner Bros. turns Superman into a fallible, Marvel-esque hero, which makes the character seem more compelling and contemporary.
