"R.I.P.D."

A veteran lawman (Jeff Bridges) and his new partner (Ryan Reynolds) uncover a dangerous tunnel to the afterlife while working for a police force charged with finding monstrous spirits disguised as ordinary people. The film's paint-by-numbers approach makes both the comedy and the drama fall flat.
