The Iceman: A film-lab worker (Michael Shannon) evolves into a cold-blooded hit man yet manages to keep his professional identity a secret from his wife (Winona Ryder). There's some wonderful acting and cinematography in this steamy, atmospheric film, but the plot is trite at best.
