Marooned in Madison, an exhibit celebrating the centennial of the UW's Pro Arte String Quartet, opens Thursday, March 1, in the lobby of the Dane County Regional Airport. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., during which members of the quartet will perform and meet the public.
The display runs through Sept. 3. It features music, photos, manuscripts, instruments, recordings and interactive technology. The show, which also celebrates the Wisconsin Idea, is free and open to the public.
