Miseria e nobiltà

media release: La Cineteca Italiana is a UW Department of French & Italian graduate student initiative that showcases a variety of classic & contemporary Italian films for students and the community. Screenings take place at 7:30 pm Tuesdays at Room L196 of the Education Building.

Note: Organizers were unable to obtain a copy of the originally scheduled film with subtitles, but will still screen a film featuring Totò. This week we're pleased to spotlight Mario Mattoli's 1954 classic comedy Miseria e nobiltà.   Screenings remain in-person, on Tuesdays @ 7:30pm in Education L196.  While the University has lifted their mask mandate, we would encourage you to wear your mask for the duration of your time in the lecture hall.
