Sustainable Energy Seminar Series
media release: With the easing of COVID restrictions on campus and Dane County, members of the public are now welcome to attend our seminars in person at the Wisconsin Energy Institute. The online/livestream option is still available for anyone who wishes to do so, and masks will be available to anyone who wishes to use one in-person.
April 4: The international (and domestic) politics of climate, energy, and sanctions
In this Sustainable Energy Seminar, Dr. Mark Copelovitch, professor of political science and public affairs, will discuss the political economy of climate, energy, and economic sanctions. He will discuss how power, international institutions, global finance, and domestic politics affect the tradeoffs and challenges facing the US, EU, China, and Russia currently and in the years ahead.
This event is offered both in-person at the Wisconsin Energy Institute and online through Zoom Webinar. If attending online, registration is required. Click here to register for this and all other webinars as part of the Sustainable Energy Seminar series.
