On Saturday March 18 at 10am get a WN@TL Weekend Special: The McPherson Eye Research Institute and Wednesday Nite @ The Lab have teamed to present Vision at the Biotech Center. This informative and entertaining session is designed for science-loving people with child-like curiosities. Emeritus Prof. Dick Dubielzig will discuss the anatomy of snake eyes and explain how they're adapted to their habitats and for their survival. Naturalist Will Vuyk will describe how he lured snakes in local parks and preserves so that he could determine which species are living here -- with surprising results. After the talks, attendees will meet pet snakes, brought by owners invited to display them at this event. Refreshments — separated from the snakes — will also be served.
