Cocktails in the Conservatory

Enjoy the tropical heat of the Bolz Conservatory while sipping cocktails to local DJs. Queer Pressure Collective — a group founded to encourage safe spaces for LGBTQ people — is helping organize the event. All proceeds go to Olbrich Gardens. Tickets ($8) at the door only. Thanksgiving for Turkeys

Instead of eating a turkey, how about feeding one? The Heartland Farm Sanctuary — Wisconsin’s only shelter dedicated to rescuing farm animals — is holding a vegetarian Thanksgiving feast with pumpkin pie, stuffed squash, cranberries and more. Meat raffle

The traditional Wisconsin meat raffle comes to Slice’s Bar & Grill. The tavern is partnering with Passionate Animals Working With Survivors (PAWWS) to raise awareness about preventing child abuse. At 2417 Pennsylvania Ave.; raffle starts at noon.
