Farm-to-table dinner

Raleigh’s Hillside Farm is celebrating the harvest with a five-course vegetarian dinner. Among the menu items: curried carrot soup with crispy chickpeas; kale salad with squash, apple, cheddar and almonds; butternut squash risotto; and fruit pie for dessert. Pie Palooza

More than 25 local chefs are baking pies for this fun fundraiser for REAP Food Group. Pick from sweet and savory tarts, quiches, turnovers and fresh salad.
