It's no secret that Wisconsin's electorate is bitterly divided. And Scott Walker's tenure as governor has only made those divisions deeper and more bitter. He nevertheless survived a recall effort in 2012 and on Tuesday won a second term in office after unofficially capturing 52% of the vote to Democratic challenger Mary Burke's 47%. GOP candidates around the state also racked up wins, including a key victory by Waukesha District Attorney Brad Schimel over Democratic challenger Susan Happ for attorney general.
